The new architecture series Progressive. Sections on Italian Architecture, an editorial project aimed at highlighting the multiplicities of contemporary Italian architecture, dedicates its second volume to the work of the studio FTA – Filippo Taidelli Architetto. This dynamic and multidisciplinary laboratory, led by Filippo Taidelli, has been operating with its architecture and design studio in Milan since 2005. It focuses on integrated design at various scales, emphasizing research and innovative interventions in healthcare and urban retrofit for the energy-efficient renovation of existing buildings. The series, directed by architect Maurizio Carones, publishes small monographs on the most interesting Italian professionals, a series of concise bilingual volumes that showcase examples of high-quality design commitment. Each volume includes essays, project sheets, and additional information to provide a succinct overview of the research and professional work of each featured architect. The texts, edited by Alessandro Benetti, include an introductory essay, selected project sheets from 2012 to 2024, and informative appendices that highlight the exceptional quality of one of the most interesting architectural firms in the contemporary Italian scene.
