‘The Bunker – Human and Tech Magazine’ is a transdisciplinary online magazine that explores new definitions of humanity in relation to technological innovations, investigating the creative processes through which new relational dimensions between the analogue and digital realms are experimented with and activated.
This digital magazine is the project where the publishing experience of Forma Edizioni meets the artistic visions and expressions promoted by Rifugio Digitale in the world of digital native arts. The history of Rifugio Digitale, an exhibition space born from the repurposing of a former World War II anti-aircraft bunker, gave rise to the name and identity of the magazine, serving as a further portal between knowledge of the past and projections toward possible futures.
‘The Bunker’ positions itself as a gateway to new worlds and knowledge, exploring the ethics and aesthetics of applied technology and new forms of art. Through articles and digital content, the magazine creates a bridge between history and the most advanced frontiers of creative thinking.
With this foundation, ‘The Bunker’ aims to establish its identity around a clear position on the relationship between the digital and virtual dimensions, which can no longer be considered a discontinuity in the continuum of the physical space we navigate. Our bodies, identities, claims, and discoveries move fluidly between the now-intersected analogue and digital planes.
The project draws on the expertise of industry professionals, curators, and both established and emerging creative figures. The development of thematic columns, entrusted to highly skilled personalities, alongside the editorial team’s ongoing research, provides the opportunity to capture the latest trends and offer spaces for in-depth critical analysis.
Articles, interviews, podcasts, audio bites, and more will alternate to ensure a culturally rich and media-diversified experience.
‘The Bunker’ aspires to be a reference point for online information on the latest trends, with a transdisciplinary and transmedia approach. It seeks to inspire and inform, offering high-quality content that serves as a compass for navigating the new worlds shaped by digital advancements. ‘The Bunker’ is more than just a magazine: it is a research hub and a meeting place for creative, passionate, and curious minds.
