Every piece of architecture has the power to condense within itself many different desires that make the built space an organism that lives and changes with us over time, influencing our lives and visions of the world, as well as the lives of the communities that will see it, pass through it and inhabit it in ways that are each time different. It is for all these reasons that the idea of constructing an exhibition on the work of the Archea studio through the words, eyes and emotions of some of the clients of the most important works realised by the Florentine studio over the last twenty years, because it expresses circularity and the completeness that is the responsibility of a contemporary architecture of weight.

Travelling and dialoguing with such different and particular clients, between Asia and Europe, not only offers the public a different and disorienting view of Archea’s work, but above all allows a correct reading of the degrees of complexity that today every architectural practice must face when moving around the world, on scales and images and places. The words of the clients play, through a system of reflexes and consonances, with the world of the Archea studio – one of the Italian studios with the most offices and branches in the world -, with its working methodology, with its protagonists, with the obsessions and the relationship with a precise idea of doing Italian, which have become identity elements indicative of the maturity of the Florentine studio founded by Laura Andreini, Marco Casamonti and Giovanni Polazzi, who were joined by Silvia Fabi in 2001, when Archea Associati was established.
