On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the artist Vincenzo Agnetti on 13 February, Forma Edizioni presents Vincenzo Agnetti. Working together is a political act, a project articulated through a book, an exhibition, and a talk that reflect on the value of collaboration as a political gesture, tracing the work and thought of one of the most radical artists of the second half of the twentieth century.

The event is produced by Forma Edizioni with Rifugio Digitale and Teatro Nazionale, in collaboration with the Archivio Vincenzo Agnetti. The project partner is the Associazione Paolo Scheggi, with technical support from Scena Urbana.

Vincenzo Agnetti. Working together is a political act takes shape as a project that weaves together photography, language, and technology, originating from the publication of the volume of the same title edited by Bruno Corà and the Archivio Vincenzo Agnetti. Its aim is to convey the complexity of a central figure in Italian contemporary art, reaffirming the value of working together as a critical, shared, and political act.

The day of 13 February opens at 12:30 pm at Rifugio Digitale with a press conference, followed by a virtual reality experience reserved for journalists. In the afternoon, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, the exhibition opens to the public, with access to a VR experience available by reservation. The virtual reality experience will be available only on 13, 14, and 15 February, while the exhibition will remain on view until 4 March. The programme on 13 February concludes at 6:30 pm at the Teatro Nazionale in Florence with the talk Vincenzo Agnetti. Working together is a political act, dedicated to a critical and multidisciplinary discussion of the artist’s legacy.
